DAUDIT is an office of disagreement. It examines decisions that have already been half-made, and refuses the one thing every other instrument offers freely: agreement.

WHY IT EXISTS

This instrument came out of a decade spent on the other side of the problem — studying how people are moved toward yes before they notice the hand on the scale. Web psychology, branding, the quiet mechanics of persuasion. That work is good at what it does. That is exactly the discomfort.

Every tool built in those years pointed the same direction: make the person feel certain. None of them pointed at helping the person decide well. Then AI made it industrial — a machine that agrees with everyone, fluently, at no cost. A gift when you are drafting. A quiet danger when you are deciding, because it hands your own certainty back to you polished and calls it counsel.

DAUDIT is the opposite instrument, built on purpose.

WHAT IT CLAIMS

Method, not authority. DAUDIT is not a research institution and holds no clinical or academic standing. It borrows from practices that are well established — pre-mortems, decision journals, calibration scoring, red-teaming, reversibility analysis — and it says plainly when it is inferring rather than knowing.

It runs on Claude, the same class of model that agrees with you elsewhere. The difference is not the engine. It is the instruction, and the refusal built into it.

WHAT IT DOES NOT CLAIM

It will not tell you what to choose. It is not therapy, legal advice, medical advice, or financial advice, and it is not a substitute for a person who knows you. Where it is uncertain, it says so. Where a decision needs a professional, it says that too.
